What's the lifespan on wool socks? Can they take the beating of machine wash or require special care, like wool pants require dry cleaning?

Normally the wool socks are made up of 40-60% merino wool so they're wool-blend socks in a way. I personally don't recommend smart wool after trying them. So far they are holding up well. Brands that I have tried include Darn Tough, Fits, Smart wool. Not all of them have a range for business wear as they are normally made for hiking.

So far they are holding up well at the heel area in contact with the back of the shoe. Compared to socks like happy socks, happy socks get really thin at the heel area after a few wears. A common misconception about wool socks is that they're hotter than cotton socks but in fact they're not.

Pope socks? Yeah, they're pricey but not bad - very soft and comfy, far better than mazerin. VFM option is still viccel though, especially since these expensive socks tend to wear out quickly

Faulk airport socks is also pretty good for its price.

anybody have tried shipping Allen Edmond products, lexol and meltonian products from US via shipping company like Vpost/borderlinx? Want to know if there are any issue with the products as they might have turpentine in it.

I've got no issues bringing in AE shoe polish and meltonian shoe cream.
