netflix 4k movies are normally running at 24fps.

24fps is sufficient for movies, even cinema is running at 24fps.

by the way, your tv is too small as a 4k tv, if your viewing distance is more than 2 meters. You may want to set at 1080p to see whether you can see the difference between 4k and 1080p, if cannot see the difference, set to 1080p will make mibox work better.

I’m trying to sideload APKs but I can’t get the option to allow “unknown source” in Security. Also there’s no ES file explorer in Google store now so wat other method can I use to install APKs? TIA

Hi all,
am thinking of getting a mi box s, but have some questions.. hopeful the experts here can help

1) any mi box rumor of a hardware update soon? the mi box s was launched Oct 18
2) with the USB port, i understand you can attach an external HDD, are there apps that allow me to network share that hdd? (ie. i might have some videos on my PC which i can transfer to the hdd via network for viewing on my tv with an app like vlc)
3) i read you can game on this box too, and it seems i can connect 2 controllers via bluetooth for multiplayer games? eg. on PS1 emulator? is this true?
4) i came across someone selling on qoo10 for $69 (exclud. delivery and no use of coupons). this is a good price right?

So far I have only used Flash / thumb drive. Mine are usually formatted to NTFS.

mibox S does not support HD audio passthrough.. at the moment the mibox 3 still supports HD audio passthrough

Does Mibox 3 has integrated chromecast like the mi box S? Cant find any info on this.
