can someone help me if i can watch free to air channel on this TV? What do i need?

I used the method posted in the earlier thread here ( and rebooted) which looks to be similar to the link, except maybe the latest play store apk. The play store did showed up but it'll exit by itself immediately after going in. I'll try to search for the latest apk when I have time, Thanks!

To root the Mibox pro, you can try to use this method as this is what I did and managed to get SuperSU working.

But do take note that superSU is not visible in the original Mibox launcher.

Rooted! But what's next? I tried tuzi launcher but can't work.....

Why cannot watch? It's only a matter of whether the source is stable nia.

There is no such thing as jailbreak for android. Only root access. U should be able to install 3rd party apps as long as u tick the permission inside setting.

To root the new mibox pro/enhanced follow the link given on the above post.

For mibox 2 go xiaomi china forum there got thread to teach u how to root it.

Mine so far only 迅雷看看 and icntv world cup channel geolock the rest all can watch leh. Tonight i go fix hola see can bypass 迅雷看看.

Later I go back see which app I opened the videos that are geoblocked, I have Hong Kong DNS still geoblocked, thought Hong Kong part of China

Can I install hola if I download the apk and put in thumb drive as I can't get my PlayStore to work

i have just tried the VST app, it only allows me to stream from iQiyi and PPS from my myrepublic dns. Youku, Shou Hu, Teng Xun, Le TV all blocked from that app.

Installed xbmc and I realise the ice films movies all quite laggy. Not sure what's the cause.

Plays perfectly fine on the 4 year old AppleTV2.

Tuzi can work liao but don't really like the interface. Stick to xiaomi factory launcher for the moment.

look for the english launcher app and clear all defaults for that app. shld be able to do that under app manager. after that when u press home button, it will prompt u which launcher u want to use. and can launch once or set as default
