when i reset to factory default and connect to my windows 8.1, the following was shown on my computer screen,

The last USB device you connected on this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognized it!

May be this help:

Go to setting page, to allow unauthorised device to connect to the xiaomi box.

Its just like android or Apple phone. If you know how to play Handphone via downloading apps then this tv box is the same.

install shafa app first. from there can find a lot of apps for video. i mainly use 布丁, iqiyi, youku. 布丁 can cover a lot of stuff but don't get latest version. they block it for tv box. shafa can get old version

标准版 got ethernet port. The other one unless u buy another ethernet adapter.

u tried changing battery already? mine was quite new and right button seems not responsive. thot its faulty but problem solved after changing batt

Also cant use the QZYB app like the himedia box which i tested.
My parents also find it hussle to use the box, complain no TVB or taiwan variety.
I sold away mine with xbmc and sopcast on it to another bro who happily using xbmc streaming.

Actually the enhanced version is a good box, reasonably priced, if you know how to get around the lock, knows how to root, install google play and youtube... etv
