Where do you guys get the xiaomi box from? Interested to get one but only seems to find qoo10 or taobao.

If you are using wifi, check your wifi speed by installing speedtest.net in the box. If the speed is Ok, then the problem is the apks you used. More than 10Mbps is good enough for streaming 1080p video.

p2premote is good!

LETV ver1.5.25 doesn't work , it just force close by itself.
The imgoTV (blackhorse version) also doesn't work , i have gotten a MAC address authentication error.

Bestv 百视通 can be downloaded from shafa market.

On the facebook group, I only post those not in shafa market.

I have tried RecordTV on my Xiaomi box. The Singapore free to air channels disappeared on the menu.
It work in Xiaomi phone.

Most probably because the apk can't detect singapore as country due to broadcast location setting off in Xiaomi box. Most probably won't find an option to enable location too.

How about using Toggle app, at least got channel 5 & 8. Clearer too

Toggle is not really optimized for TV right? Even using a mouse is quite painful to navigate.

Could someone advise on the optimal decoding setting for xbmc on xiaomi?

If I turn off all hw acceleration, I get choppy playback on high bitrate 1080p mkv files.

The same files playback OK with xbmc on firetv.

Nope, does not come with english UI preinstalled from Lazada seller.

Updating to english is not that hard anyways refer to the link on the previous post.

Yeah the Google play store install method in that video did not work because of missing some items.

I followed the steps on HERE for installing Google play store.

Using the Google Installer application to install instead however this application is in Chinese so I had to navigate blindly to install.
