Update: I just download the global rom 1.5gb from Xiaomi site and use the updater to flash to global rom. everything all ok ., no need to unlock bootloader

That's good to know. Congrats for flashing successfully...

ordered a 128gb black from Newstar electronics but sian can only collect on Monday cos they're at SITEX. :(

hope they're reliable and that my purchase is valid. paid for it already

Newstar quite ok. Gotten my mi max 64gb from them before...

i bought with black friday coupon, so end up i paid $509. but i noticed the eprint thing shows "25-26 nov". wah better not expire when i go on monday

just take note nse one usually is custom rom. english OS and google playstore out of box, but a lot of funny apps and popups. I was lazy to unlock bootloader so sold them off instead.

no problem. i already requested for unlock bootloader. will just take a few days to slowly unlock and flash a global ROM lor

Anyone know how to get Android Pay to work for mi5? Currently running on latest stable version 8.1.2.0.. Thanks
