Can boot up to twrp and ROM as usual

But com.android.phone get forced stop error

I read somewhere can be fixed but not sure yet how. Last night played around with ROM and root until 2 AM :( been awhile doing something like this since my old phone G3 is good and stable

Wow! There are a lot of Mi Max hooters this week. :)

Welcome all! :)

At the current stage, it is either you stay with official China rom if you do not fancy Google services or flash to official Global rom or TWRP to eu rom Stable. :)

If you wanna get the best of the official China rom and the best of the official Global rom without any bug, the EU ROM Stable 8.2.3.0 is the way to go. The best! :)

Note that the EU ROM is a very original MIUI based rom. You are still using the awesome MIUI likes on official rom.

sian how come Facebook no notification 1? i disabled battery saver.. disable memory optimisation.. locked the apps..enabled all notification such as floating etc and gave it priority.

lost imei means cannot join any mobile networks gsm wcdma, no more edge

did u backup yr partitions? hint use partition backup by wanam
last resort, use other ppl qcn, ensure its same model & region but u must know yr original imei numbers beforehand

the romflashing guide, shoukd insert a partitijn backup section coz its easy to lose imeis during normal flash, includong ota

Dont have backup le..

I was abit kan chiong.. immediately EDL flash to eu rom after bought

How to know which region?

Any kind soul can share qcn? Mine is 3/64gb model

I have imei number on the box

So I was wondering how to check what ROM my phone will be running on? I will be collecting my phone at Sim Lim later in the afternoon, any things that I need to take note of?

Advises appreciated! Cant wait for the phone to be in my hands!

Check the MIUI version first. Take a photo of it if you can. Ask the seller what is the MIUI version loaded on the phone at the same time.

Depending on who your seller is. Almost all China expert sets are likely to be loaded with official China rom or hacked rom.

If it is so. Ask the seller if he or she can help to flash to the latest official Global rom for you on the spot.

3/32 and 3/64 version is 8.2.4.0.

4/128 is 8.2.1.0.

If the seller is not willing to flash for you. No problem. Come back here to read the guide and flash it yourself.

Besides that, do the basic checking like speaker sound, display no dead pixel, LED light is working, handphone jack is working. Buttons are working for power off and on and the volume button as well.

Take you own sweet time to check. No need to be shy and hurry. :)

8.2.1.0 like sucks. Some notifications such as facebook comment...like posts etc... not appearing. Was using Samsung note 5/s7 before this.
