Since you are using mi max, or export set, you don't need to be tied down with 2 years contract for a brand new phone, Get those mysim plan either monthky or yearly contract, then you can decide in a shorter period if M1 is good for you.

As of now, there's still no way of transferring games & apps over to SD card right for Xiaomi? Been googling for it quite a while but doesn't work.
My current Xiaomi Note 4G only have 6GB internal memory. Install few apps & 2 games then less than 1gb left liao.

MIUI doesn't allow it, but the Mi Max should have enough space for you to store apps.
