Aiya! I should had saved a copy just now after downloading the Recovery zippy on my phone and put it on my Google drive for sharing. Now, it is gone after upgrading.

Anyway, the Games Booster which is available only on China rom has finally been introduced in Global 9.5.2.0. Awesome.

You can download the Recovery rom to update now! However, the Fastboot rom has not been listed yet for download.

Game speed booster! The highly anticipated feature on Global rom in which it has been available on China rom for a very long time already!

The new dropdown notification bar, which I don't really like the implementation of it or rather I don't get use to it yet!

Some other system / apps performance enhancement as usual!

One thing I don't like...the SMS delivered sound is now using the default notification sound. Cannot use seperate sound likes before 9.5.2.0.

Yes! But actually, no need to rename to "update.zip"!

Just copy the file to your Mi Max and reboot into TWRP recovery and choose Install pointing to that zippy!

After installation of the recovery rom. Reboot and you need to re-root if you want a rooted phone!

No data loss!

Yups.. will root it since there are no weekly updates for this rom..

Magisk is still recommended right?

Yes! Magisk is still the best. It passed safetynet check too on 9.5.2.0. I'm using Magisk.

Root it, then you can use custom tone for WhatsApp by putting the customer tone in the root/system/...folder.

Some other apps also can only recognize tone in the root folder.

This might not be directly related to Mi Max... But, strangely, my facebook (latest version 166.) keeps crashing since yesterday afternoon.

I tried older version of 165., crashed too. Now, I try 164., so far so good. No crash.

Note that same crash happened on both the Global 9.2.1.0 as well as Global 9.5.2.0..

What could be the problem? Anyone has the same Facebook crashing on Mi Max?

erhmm.. reboot after install, hung at mi logo for 15-20 mins, rebooted again same. Am i supposed to wipe data/system b4hand?...bricked?
(32gb/hydrogen, have to admit storage is literally 99% full after download)

Ahh! Space issue I guess. Reboot to normal state. Clear up more space. Then, reinstall twrp in fastboot mode to be safe before you install the 9.5.2.0 zip again via twrp recovery.

Anyway, both the Fastboot and Recovery rom for Global 9.5.2.0 have been officially released and listed in the MIUI forum.

but the extracting and updating partition dialogue says ok/done.
Also how to reboot now that it is stuck at mi logo?
Also cant move files, like the sdcard1 lock Using twrp filemanager,
