Last time i use sandisk 128 cant read...must use pc to format...i try liao but too chimm...dunno how...so i use 32gb no problem.

Which brand of 32sd card did you use?
Do you have to do any formatting using the phone?

Try using SD card formatter, u can Google n dl for ur PC. Just format the SD card to fat32 n u are good to go.

Thanks for the reply. This will be too chimp for me.
But I will keep this tip for future learning curve as I get
more and more excited about the capability of the mi Max.

Use programs like EASEUS partition and format it to FAT32 before insert it into ur Mi Max. Windows doesn't support formatting 64/128 card to FAT32 natively.

Din encounter any problems with my Sandisk 64gb. I just insert and reformat on my phone.

I manage to get a 64GB Samsung EVO plus and insert
into phone and format it successfully.

Now I am not sure how to transfer data such as apps,
pictures, videos to the external Samsung EVO card.
Anyone can help me showing the steps to do it?

The retailers want to make more profit, so they hang on to
it so that they can raise the price since most of the experienced
32 or 64GB users would also like to have the faster 4GB/128
with the better processor.

personally, i found no difference in speed between 3GB and 4GB RAM. with the latter allows me to house two SIM cards while storing my huge music files, at the same time.
at $286, it was the price when i bought the 32gb in Sept, export set.

if i never smashed the phone, and if my MIL did not want to change to a bigger display phone, I'd have carried on using the 32gb,though have to sacrifice using one of the SIM cards.

anyway, any shop at SLS provides service for repairing max? do they have the spare parts too? like LCD panel and back case.

Not all apps can transfer...use as backup or for camera picture and video...

Yeah Strontium is reliable. I had 64GB Strontium for my
previous LG Pro 2. Now have to learn how to get the data
from it to my new Samsung Evo.

why do u want to transfer apps? as in you can redownload from playstore right? and as for pic and videos u can use a pc to transfer over. (much quicker and better)

This I agree. Upgraded to a 128gb and other than seeing more spare ram in task manager, the performance increase is hardly visible.

Not really worth upgrading if you already have a 32 or 64 unless the price is cheap or you just want to upgrade for onboard storage or just for the sake of upgrading.

Apps don't transfer over to SD card unless you go through a roundabout process which is useless. Google want to phase out SD card.

any1 encounter the same problem I have every morning, I have to re-sign in to apps eg, facebook, for the 1st time for the day.
i didnt have this problem previously, only happen, say for about 2-3 weeks ago.

Nope. Have not encountered this before.

personally, I have stopped using google.

only need it when i setup a new phone.after that, uninstall it (for china ROM)
i am not using MI account too.
just need a dropbox app (for calendar ics files,and I'm good to go.)

battery wise, of course is hell lot better.
