I wouldn't say it's a trick la honestly, I mean, the price is openly stated before you purchase after all.

Looks like still newstar on shopee cheapest for the 4/128?

But just wondering if anyone had the same considerations:

Mi 5s / Mi5s plus vs Mi Max?

Screen Size vs portability, your choice.

For me, I use it more for media consumption so a bigger screen was great. Love reading manga and light novels on it. :s12:

Yes, for the price, this phone is seriously amazing. I got the 64gb when it was initially available (paid $300+ with $50 Qoo10 coupon) and till now, I'm still loving it now.

I guess for me, coming from the mi3 anything at all is an upgrade hehe. Reading reviews, mi5 plus tries to play in the flagship category and gets matched / compared against other flagships. Objectively it does have its cons also (surprised to see they removed OIS etc, and no radio.

The max OTOH plays itself as a midrange, and then comes out strongly, but in terms of specs such as cameras lag behind ( but that's not where it tries to compete anyway).

I guess it's always very tempting to try and go for the best, given in this case the 'best' is still decently affordable, and (am I wrong here?) Not very much more expensive than the max.

What's the cheapest price you can get for 5s plus? With that price range, you might as well get OnePlus 3T. :s22:
