Mi Max is still the best in value! Big flat 6.4" bright and vivid display at 50% and above of brightness! No similj gimmicky curved screen lah, OSB which eats up the actual App screen size lah!

Actually, the Mi Max camera performs so well in good lighting condition for that price tag!

Let's not talk about the camera quality in low light lah! I also feel so piaseh and don't know where to hide my butt taking about it LOL!

Yes, same la. only for those without unlock bootloader will need edl mode.

anyway for those using edl mode for TWRP, you can use the guide from xda which bro skrw105 posted. Mine edl mode flashing is "forced type" one, and many will find it not work. I will not post my method though as you will have experience flashing error along the way, which most user cannot comprehend with.

I only recommend the safe and easy solutions for the new guys. (ya I flash my method worked, then test other new found method posted by the guys here).

If you all wish, tell me I will put up a guide for TWRP here.

Yes, please as I'm getting annoyed by my MiMax Hydrogen.

I'm using MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM 7.4.13, still got two problems despite the latest update last Friday (only settling the Google Playstore's waiting for wifi problem):

1. WhatsApp not automatically restart in the background (despite allow it
by setting it correctly), thus the message and call only pops up when I tap the WhatsApp icon which is very annoying.

2. Display brightness : keeps on automatically auto adjust despite not allowed the auto adjust.

I guess I have to migrate to EU ROM 8.2.2.0

Weird thing happened last night - phone hung with the keyboard refusing to disappear, and I had to force restart. After that, my settings such as ringtone, notification preferences etc were reset.

i also experienced loss of settings out of a sudden, notifications led refused to light up even after restarting the phone, up to the point where i thought the led is faulty. Upon which, i tried to charge the phone to trigger test the led and it lighted up.
