For the plug, you can use Samsung one. No problem. However, for cable, use the supplied cable as Xiaomi phone can be very picky about the cable use.

There are instances whereby the pc cannot detect the Mi Max or cannot charge or charging very slowly when not using the supplied cable in the box.

guys...which set of mi max should i get now?

so many configurations..confusing :s22:

It's either 3/32, the cheapest variant, or 3/64 or 4/128.

If you need huge storage, then go got 3/64 or 4/128.

If it is just for normal usage, go for the 3/32 will do!

You have got to visit few shops in SLQ for quotations.

If it is more than $150, might as well buy a new one at around $250 plus minus . :)

Qoo10 has Super Sales vouchers now. Can use it offset the price.

If you are referring to crack on screen protector..that is easy to replace..if you are referring to phone screen..that is more challenging..

Yes, locked bootloader should have no problem.

Yes, you can install for any other 3rd party rom using twrp.

thank you ! finally managed to install TWRP after 2nd flash

1st flash, manage to boot to ROM but when reboot to recovery only goes to standard recovery

for 2nd one, i use miflash beta and different (older 6.x Global ROM) and manage to boot to TWRP

Note : I bought 2nd hand 3/64 GB for 200, silver colour, seems like export set but shop (xiaomi store SLS ? a.k.a isky trading) gives 12 months warranty stamp in receipt, is this normal ?

May I know did you buy from the shop or online?

Export set typically has shop warranty (i.e. not manufacturer warranty) or no warranty.

Just finished installing last weekly eu ROM.. now IMEI lost :(

Sent from Xiaomi MI MAX using GAGT

Oops! That was a little bit unfortunate for you coz it rarely strike.

Lost IMEI means bricked?

Can flash to eu rom Stable to recover?

I have stopped flashing eu rom developer or official developer rom coz the recent developer rom are very buggy and unpredictable in that context.
