Anyway, 7.5.18 is so messy, be it official or eu rom versions!

So, for the time being, I have to roti prata back to eu rom 8.2.3.0 CN. No choice sia!

No mess! No rubbish! No forced close. No low audio! Not a single issue!

A real super solid piece of eu Stable rom based on the latest official Stable China rom 8.2.3.0.

no lah, that 5G is new extra label on the wireless network 5Ghz band. normally we already label ssid with 'xxxx_5G'.

No such issue here. Calls are always connected tightly.

Is it your place reception no good? I have one such encounter but is location issue.

2) Access to Google Play Store ok?

If so, can help point me to the URL or instructions for doing this?

I'm honestly an Android noob. Was (am still using) on BB10 and Windows Phone / BlackBerry OS7 previously) never a fan of Android, and Mi Max (local set) is my first Android device. I'm not impressed with the low volume bug. Other than that, the phone itself isn't bad.

EU ROM is based on China rom 8.2.3.0 (for Mi Max 32 as well). It has no low volume issue. The audio quality and loudness as well as the enhanced audio functions are at its original best. All those China apps which are not related to Global version of ROM had been taken out as well. No unwanted Chinese bloatwares.

EU ROM has been modified to integrate Google PlayStore and services into its rom and therefore Google stuffs are working perfectly. No issue at all. Nothing to worry at all.

Secondly, do a search on my post here. I have posted my own steps of flashing to eu rom.

Some reading and understanding of technical terms are required. It is difficult to guide over here by words.

No problem, bro. Some reading are really needed in order to understand the steps and processes involved.

If you cocked up when flashing eu rom. Don't worry. You can always flash back to original Global rom with another method. No sweat.

I also cocked up my first time. Haha.

Lol i gonna fall back to stable rom, either official or eu. The batt consumption seems higher on official beta and some of my apps as usual dont like nougat yet.

Official Global 8.2.3.0 still has the low audio bugs and that Mi Sound Enhancer bug!

Just flash to eu rom 8.2.3.0 now.

Wait for the next new China rom update from Xiaomi and then grab the update from eu rom . EU is very fast cooking up new roms de! Within a day sia after Xiamo released the official roms! No sweat!

Me confirmed and chopped no more prata! Stay loyal to eu rom 8.2.3.0 from now onward! EU rom beats every other version of MIUI roms! Sick of eating too much roti prata liao!
