I got this when playing lineage 2 once a while. I think got to do with the rotation. When I restart the game, everything ok.something strange happeed on my mi max today
the lock screen resized so it only occupies half the screen. The bottom half of the lock screen is all black. Has anyone encountered this?
Now I keep getting mi drop popup alerts.
Googled and found from MIUI forums that it has been an issue since June 2016. Need to change back to default theme. Wtf...
After about a year of using mi max, my screen is warped. Can see light leaking out from the edge? I went to you tube to learn to remove the back case. Once the back case is removed, the screen moved back to in place. But once I put back the back case, the screen warped again, leaking light. How to solve this?
Any ideas why 4k video recording for my mi max camera setting is gone. Now I only left to use either (Full HD/HD/SD) option. It used to have 4k.
By the way. Even I choose 4k or full HD. The camera will always choose back to HD after awhile. I thought setting should be fixed unless user change it.
Which firmware are you on?
I am on the latest Global Beta and video still has 4K recording.
Looks like some UI changes. Now see more details on Wi-Fi connection.

My Samsung microSD 64GB card got corrupted the day before.
Thankfully, I copied all over to my PC last was on 13 Jul 2017. Did some data recovery and got back maybe 50% of what is from 13 Jul till 3 Nov. So didn't lose a lot of data.
Anyway, I formatted the card to exFAT and it can be read and write by the Mi Max. Was it all along like that?
I think xiaomi can only support fat32. When exfat sdcard is plug in, it'll say corrupted and prompt to format. My Samsung microSD 64GB card got corrupted the day before.

It can't read ntfs format.I think xiaomi can only support fat32. When exfat sdcard is plug in, it'll say corrupted and prompt to format.
Fat32's disadvantage is 4gb max file size.
