For better 1 handed grip, i suggest getting a case where the backing has a bit of texture. Received my ipaky silicone back cover from aliexpress. Looks nice and luxurious but the back feels smooth and i am afraid the phone might just slip and fly out of my hands.

Precisely .... that's why I feel that this casing should be very suitable.

If you just got your phone and want to try out MIUI 8 beta, i suggest you download the fastboot rom and use the fastboot method to flash. I find that this is the easiest but data will be gone.

Miui 8 is beta now but it's worth a try.


I flashed to miui 8 first thing when i got my phone, no regrets! =P

no idea why the free RAM always getting lower.

liking this phone everyday though I have spent an amount of time flashing different versions.
battery is awesome.
hit 7hrs SOT at 100% yesterday.
from 330pm till now, left 73% ,clocked SOT of 5hrs.
100% on mobile network.

Could you tell me what kind MIUI version you are on now? (Full version name as what you see in the About Phone). ?

Coz you should be prompted V 7.5.7.0?
