It has been fixed for Redmi Note 3 running 6.8.11.





Just wait for a while for the Mi Max... :)

Using it for 12 hrs now. This is a good phone.
Some lag occasionally but the 650 is doing a great job. Somewhat for someone who prefers big phone find that 6.4 is top big. Seems like the perfect size is either 6 inch or 6.2. The phone will be perfect if the screen is oled.

How do I fix the no notifications issue from news app such as channel news asia?

I don't get the push notifications or I have to open the app and lock it in the background

I went down from 7inch Coolpad 9976a to 6.4inch Mi Max Helium and I'm still missing the extra screen space. I will probably get over it in a month or so. Even though it is 60+grams lighter on the spec sheets it does not feel lighter when in use, probably due to the more compact size.
Frankly speaking, I wanted to get the Zenfone 3 Ultra (it is 6.8inch), but couldn't wait til end Aug as I urgently needed a phone.

Too bad basic members cannot put signature :(
