even India set cant OTA to MIUI 8 beta?

miui 8 beta only flash through miflash or using updater apps inside yr phone... when official miui 8 out most likely OTA to it

no problem for me.. so far mi max is a much stable phone then note 3 for me.. no fingerprint sensor issue, no what ever issue.. it wok just perfectly out of the box... and all firmware version all perfect so far

yes,, but if u want to downgrade rom u die die need to use miflash beta.. so far i tried miui 8 beta recovery rom with updater app no problems... many bro tried also.. u can do a search n this thread... miui 8 u can use fingerprint to take photo... u got dual space, can clone apps, can capture screeshot (scrolling) for whatsapp.. super powerful rom.

Wah ... my wife's Note 4 died suddenly just now while updating Facebook app.

The Note 4 was updating Facebook app and it became really slow. So she rebooted her phone and the phone cannot boot up. I tried all the methods which I can find on internet but NONE worked.

Guess when my Mi Max comes, I may just have to use the Mi Max and pass her my Redmi Note 3 liao.

Actually my wife is very versatile and adaptable. So as long as the phone don't give her problem, can do what she needs to do, she's ok liao.

She should like the MIUI themes later on when she play more with it.

Your Mi Max performs even better and smoother and when the official rom is released, just update it. Simple.

For better 1 handed grip, i suggest getting a case where the backing has a bit of texture. Received my ipaky silicone back cover from aliexpress. Looks nice and luxurious but the back feels smooth and i am afraid the phone might just slip and fly out of my hands.
