Ok, another of my reports...
So far the battery is fantastic. I was out for the whole day for 12 hours and battery still 50+% left. That's nothing new here, many people already reported that. That's the key reason I chose this phone over the beautiful seductive Note 7

For me, I'm still playing around with this phone while still using Note 3 as my working phone. I don't want to transfer my data over till Global Miui 8 is out for my 128GB model because I have huge amount of data that will take a long time, that I don't want to redo. Global Miui8 beta for this 128 GB model is not even out yet! and it looks like a long wait.
But now my 2 nos. Note 3 batteries are dying fast. Together they last me less than half a day and I'll have carry extra power bank. Imagine carrying 2 big phones and add on another power bank! I found a good solution by using my Note 3 as WiFi hot spot for Mi Max and leaving its screen off unless necessary to check WhatsApp, emails or sms etc. Now the Note 3 can last the whole day because the weak battery can last proportionately longer on lower discharge rate( standard physics of batteries - lower discharge rate= higher total capacity). I use the Mi Max for web browsing, media playing for everything else that are heavy battery draining apps.
I tried using Mi Max as the ftp server to use the direct inter phone link to the Note 3 without need for a WiFi router. It worked and is very fast because both phones support super fast 11ac WiFi. I transferred some media files over without using clumsy cables. But I don't want to transfer other data files over so as to avoid mixing old files and new files on two devices that can cause confusions.
So this report is for those who has the same usage as me. We can share experiences and tips here to keep this thread the liveliest on HWZ. ☺
