Far cry from what you got.
Voice calls also drains the battery life quite a bit. Esp if you used 1.5 hrs

U wait long long.. This mine price prediction.. They very likely bring in 64gb only or 32gb + 128gb.they will not sell all 3 models.

32gb $329 to $349
64gb $399
128gb $459 to $499

I got the price right.. Think they launch 32gb only cause the global Rom for sd652 still not stable yet...

Ok, here's my simple mod for those who want to use one hand to read the Mi Max while being squeezed and standing on the wobbly MRT train.

Wrap a rubber band around the lower end of your casing. Then lay your phone on the rubber band and close the case with the rubber band still trapped between the inside and outside of the case.

After that you can hold your phone and yet slip a finger under the rubber band. This will hold your phone securely even when you're holding it upside down. With this secure holding and the flexibility of the stretchable rubber band, you will feel safe to move your thumb over to reach the far parts of the screen.

You don't even need to hold the far edge of the phone once you're adept to the secure feel of the rubber band. If you prefer, you can cut a notch in the side of the case to grip the rubber band firmly and not slip from frequent use. But do this only after you've tested and know the right position of the rubber band that suits your way.

Any comments are appreciated. Come out with your own tips and we can share too.

Lol, if really need that, might as well get those stick on 'rings'?

While the rubber band works, it doesn't really er... blend in... with the mi max.

Well, it's less obtrusive than the ring and doesn't poke onto your thigh. The phone is already a tight fit in the pocket so the ring will make it even tighter and poke your thigh if you put it in the wrong direction.

Also it's free, it's stretchable to reach far parts, it's easily reversible if you don't like it.
Try it and you'll find the simple flexibility is better than the ring.

You can choose the color of the rubber band to suit or even cut the notches at the sides of the case to grip the rubber band so that you can trim off the part that's inside the case.

Thanks for the feedback, everybody can adjust the mod to suit.

#MiMax is the new big, and it's here in Singapore! With a 6.44" immersive display and large 4850 mAh battery, you'll definitely get a satisfying, MAXed out experience!

Mi Max (RRP $349) in gold and silver will be available on 3rd September this week at Challenger Singapore stores,Lazada, and also with M1 & Singtel. Check here for a full list of where Mi Max will be stocked: http://c.mi.com/sg/thread-2552-1-1.html

I am using the ring. It is really good for Mi Max. Just position the ring slightly on the lower side of the Mi Max will be better.

Profit for challenger, telco and lazada comes from buyers. Lower distribution costs for xiaomi. Double win for them.
