Go for mi max if you want something bigger. However, if you decided to stay with 5.5", why not look at the Redmi notes 4? It also has a large battery at 4100mah. To me, a down sized mi max. Price whiles is not a lot of different from the remi note 3.

After watching this .... I think you'll think twice before getting Redmi Note 4 liao.

Hi all, there's 2 questions I have for fellow mi max users:

1. How do I change the from default lock screen keyboard to the selected input one (Swype)?

2. After every restart, my theme/wallpaper will always switch back to the default one instead of the selected wallpaper.

How do I rectify these 2 issues. I'm using Nova Launcher btw. Thanks in advance.

If you're using 3rd party launcher then the problem is with the launcher no?
I'm using stock and don't quite understand the problems you're seeing. E.g. My lock screen got no keyboard leh.

The keyboard appears when the phone prompts you to input the password to unlock it.

Yes, I also like to know whether there is a solution for question 1. But I think this cannot be changed.

Sorry bro, can't help you on both questions. But, I did not experience what u mentioned in question 2.

No worries. Hope we can find a solution for the 1st issue. I prefer to Swype to enter my password instead of the default keyboard.

I don't get it leh?

What was the Note 4 in the video?

I think he is referring to both the Redmi 4 and the set on the left are using the same processor, media tek.therefore they will both exhibit the same effect.

Thanks for sharing, bro i1magic.

Btw, it was not note4 in the video, the one on the left.

64gb no official global rom. What you have is a modified rom instead.

There is only china stable rom or beta rom for 64gb.
