Challenger sells at the official retail price, which will be same as telcos too.

If you want some discount but prefers a local set, you may get it from Xiaomi's Lazada store and apply relevant discount codes for extra discounts.

Sent from Sumire using GAGT

Telcos sell at rrp+15

I wanted to buy frm telco but all 3 said the same +15 which i felt it is kinda dumb

Just removed both cameras from the phone. Extremely easy. Tips to those planning to remove. Put some cotton wool to make it very obvious that camera has been removed. Also when putting back the back cover lay it on the buttons side first to make sure the buttons align properly.

You could have done up a video, upload on YouTube, then all of us can follow.

Cotton wool can burn easily. Not sure Will the cotton wool get burned if the phone is too hot. This just comes to my mind.

Actually there's no need to put cotton wool. Guess you are removing it for use inside camera-prohibited zones (E.g army camps, etc).

If you've been stopped and asked to prove.... just open your camera app... it should show error message "Can't connect to camera".... that's enough proof..

It's same as what I did with my redmi note.

There is a video available on youtube, demonstrating camera removal...
(ignore the irritating sound effects):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJXaOW9omkY

Another video (Just watch till the part involving mainboard cover(Metal cover), the 1st 55secs of the clip.... that's all)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMG04GqVU_0

Otherwise you can refer to here:

http://www.ihowfix.com/xiaomi-mi-max-teardown/

- removal of back cover (Be gentle, cos the fingerprint sensor module is stuck to the back cover)
- removal of fingerprint sensor module
- removal of top metal cover (Warranty void, breaking the small mi sticker on one of the screws securing the metal cover)
- taking out the 2 cameras near each other at top left of phone, then do the reverse to fix back.

Hope it helps..
