It will not disappoint. Huge screen is the killer for entertainment purposes or almost anything you do. Typing is easier too with big keyboard.

That's why I come back to Mi Max for the 3rd time...just can't imagine that. Lol..

I can miracast from Mi Max 6.44in screen to my 65in tv screen for 100x the screen area hehe.

was trying to factory reset my xiaomi max bought from smartcell but it ask me to enter a password for a unknown account which was input by smartcell i suppose. what should i do? pls advice.

went to smartcell & they are kind enough to proceed with flashing my xiaomi max back to miui 7 but when setting up, the phone still require me to enter the password of the mi account that was login previously. The problem is that the account was not mine. anybody can help here? TIA.

You get the phone 2nd hand? This remind other before purchase, ask the owner to de-register phone from his account.

mine max gave me a unknown ID then ask me to enter PW. 1st time use phone until so headache.

I just collected my Mi Max. It comes with global Rom 7.5 and three pin plug. So far so good.

Just stay at 7.5. Don't update to 8 for the time being.

8 has this low volume issue that has yet to be fixed if audio is important to you.

I got this Mi Max for my mother so audio should be important for her. I will ask her not to update to the latest firmware. Thanks for the thumbs up.

That I'm not very sure but it seems to be a firmware issue affecting a number of xiaomi models as per what I read and understood.

Other Xiaomi gurus might want to help here.
