In China now, managed to snatch a mi max 3gb ran 64Gb Qualcomm 652 version from Xiaomi site at launch sales. Cost RMB1699 or S$348 equivalent. Receiving next week.
Will do some review next week. The 652 version only released last week. Don't think Qoo10 has ready stock.

Local has export set of 652/64gb. But it's more ex then what you bought.

Wanna check something with you guys. On qoo10, NSE has listed a 2gb/16gb mi max model selling at $279. There are people posting on their QnA asking if this is real and NSE replied saying this is real and they have actual stock in hand even though officially xiaomi has not released a 2gb/16gb model for mi max. So has anybody actually purchased a 2gb/16gb set from NSE?

Exactly.....that site seems more like a reseller site and cant be trusted. Was only yesterday where rumours surfaced that a 2gb/16gb model is in the works but somehow NSE claims they already have stock for sale. Wonder how legit it is.

If let's say Mi Max 3GB / 32GB / SD650 is SGD$319 and the Mi Max 3/4GB / 64GB / SD652 is say SGD$369, which will you rather get?

But if the Mi Max 3/4GB / 64GB / SD652 is say SGD$469, then it is for those who wants the extra and willing the pay for it.

Your SD652 64GB got how much RAM? How much is your wife SD650 and your SD652? What matters is the difference.

Doesnt mean a thing even if the seller lists 16gb as an option, especially from these kind of seller who only has a few or no transactions on record. Do a search on of 小米Max on taobao and sort by transaction volume. Those sellers with higher sales volume all list 32gb or 64gb and i have yet to seen any claiming to have 16gb for sale. Regardless, the most accurate would be to take cue from the official xiaomi china site and they only have 3 models listed 3/32, 3/64 and 4/128. If xiaomi china dont have 2/16 model, then i have no idea how resellers are able to get stock for something that simply dont exists.

I only need a phone with large screen and battery since i mainly use the phone for movies. Also i m looking to buy around 2-3 sets so if indeed a 2gb/16gb model is released and it costs around 40-50 bucks cheaper, then the savings would be quite substantial for me.

No lag at all. Me no play graphic intensive, only clash royale n some TD games. Smooth like butter.

Early benchmark shows there's in fact a 16gb storage 2gb ram version. Might be officially release soon.
