hi all, this is the first time i am using a dual sim phone. Just to check, sim 1 will have 4G voice and mobile while sim 2 is only 3G voice, right? there is no way i can select sim 2 for 4G voice and mobile thru the software, right? i can only physically swap them in order to do so.

second thing, i have whatapp installed for on sim1. how can i installed whatapp for sim2? dont tell me i have to uninstall whatapp and reinstall it for sim 2.

1) no need to swap physically, just select the Internet to the network u wish to be on 4G (settings-simcard-default internet)

2) whatsapp app just need sms otp verification, no need sim to be in the same phone. n just to add, if u have updated to miui8 u'll be able to make use of the clone apps feature to have 2 whatsapp app on the same phone

wow, i didnt even know miui is so powerful. really learned somethin from both of you.

ok, managed to clone the whatsapp. all looks good except for one issue. The incoming notification does not activate the ring tone. i already went into the setting and did all the things. The original whatsapp is able to sound the ring tone but not the clone. any of you facing this problem?

can flash to other rom? the miu does not work well with nine, sometimes the mail cannot come in, not stable at all, until resync
