my phone restart like 2-3 time per day.. dont know is it cos i have too many app or the storage running out

Did it start recently? Could also be a recently installed app causing the problem. Either slowly uninstall recent apps until the problem is gone, or just restart from scratch.

It is unclear. I read some posts which says that you can also unlock on Global Stable ROM.

The problem is my MiPCSuite cannot see my device. As such, I can't even flash to developer ROM. It is really weird because fastboot devices can see, adb devices can see, XiaoMiFlash can also see.

I am on Global Stable ROM MIUI8 now. It is really frustrating.

All those guides are bullcrap. You can flash your rom even if MiPCSuite cannot see your device. MiPCSuite does not work for devices with android 6.0 aka all new phones. Just unlock, go into fastboot mode and flash.

I could also unlock on China Stable rom despite the unlock software not showing that I am connected. All I had to do is click the unlock option...

finally got my mi max! but i realised even at max volume (listening to spotify) on headphones, it's really quite soft (compared to my iphone's media vol).

is this a mi max thing?

When I merged the apps into a folder. It was a 3x3 display configuration. It is possible to customise to a 2x2 display ?

It's normal, as it just indicates the cell network you're connected.

If there's mobile data connection going on, there will be two arrows beside the network bar.

Guys, put in a Starhub SIM into my non-local set Mi Max but cannot get 4G. Only 3G.

Same SIM card I can get 4G signal on iPhone.

Tried microsim and nanosim, both same. Any idea?

Do i need to manually configure APN?

Mine ok...initially only 3G....waited for 20 mins...then 4GB....heng ar!

Also, this is my first time transiting to such a big phone. Wondering how you guys carry it around? Example like when going out lunch with colleagues, put pant's pocket too bulky.. put table take up space..

Phone just put in pocket. Quite ok for me.

My phone will be in pocket when I am outside. Only on table when I sit down in the office doing reports etc or at home.

The screen size got very high user satisfaction level. More I use more I like it. The brightness and the color will not shy side by side with iphone or samsung. When play video..wow.. Now I see all my friends 5.5 to 5.7 screen look bloody small in their hand.
I do use one-hand-mode in mrt or bus. The biggest OHM screen is 4.5' which is still bigger than my pre 4.3"..

I looking forward more mi mix design alike phones. minimize phone size with maximized screen.

I stop wearing jeans ever since after using Samsung note 2. Using mi max now and have to take it out wherever I sitting down.
