New update today, but no changelog (as usual) for the phone's update log. V6.7.1.0...

Miui 7 also seems snappier.... But damn leychey to install all the Google apps separately... Cos the miui 7 beta is china rOm...

Just installed Google 5.1.1 lollipop plain rom.

It's the snappiest rom ever! Some minor bugs though... Not sure if I should use this one or go back to miui7

Try flashing the china miui7 developer rom. Best batt life and audio quality is louder and clearer than global rom.

Need to download china apk "Google instsller"

Inside there u can install Google play servoces.

After did that then can install anything

Hi Bros,

Any advise on where they provide installation for mi note pro housing as i drop mine and there is a dent. :sad:
I have ordered the housing from taobao but got no idea where to get it change.

I can't seem to load the chinese development firmware. Just gives me error after 99%. Any advise?

Error message is signature verification failed. Mine is sg set

Secret tip: add an "o" in front of the first letter of the official download link to get access to the alternative server which is much faster... So url she be "http://ob....." instesd of" http://b....."

Ok on miui7 suddenly faced high battery usage and also my mobile data network monitor was perpetually downloading at 200k/s.

After some digging seems like the this is due to Xiaomi download app continuously trying to download some ****... But not able to.

Anyway I cleared app data for download manager and download app and problem resokved!!!

Those with batt problem could try this.

I think this is something to do with Xiaomi app store conflict with Google play store.

Yup... Mi note certainly is best value ever.... And battery life seriously is good especially since it is dual standby sim!!

One thing is I'm permanently on "performance" mode... Cos balanced mode I feel a bit laggy do typing.
