Are you rooted your miTV?

I've took alot of time to fix this update failure, few trial and error until success update. Thanks ugene provide the app for recover.

It is hard to explain, but I can refer you a link (In chinese), u need follow the steps to troubleshoot the update failure issue.

But before that have you tried enter recovery mode & restart into old version system? This might help you fix you issue as well.

Hi linux, sorry for late reply. Here I share some info how I fix the the update firmware issues.

At starting, my Mitv fails update at 85% & this is due to system apps were modified by me, so I get the recovery app from "gene". To recover, I think adb tool cannot be use because xiaomi already disable the adb mode in miTV. But since u already rooted, you can find the way to enable it. But I propose another easy way: use Root Explorer. U just need copy & paste the app into the system folder & change the app permission.

After I recovered the system apps, the update failure again at 95%. So I uninstalled the king root & make it unroot state. after that I update again, wow! system can update.

If you never modified/delete system apps, you can try uninstall the root & update again. It might possible let you update the system.

may I check with owners of MiTV3 if there is an audio output at the main soundbar which I can connect to the wireless/wired headphone?

Want to check that this output gives the full range of sound and not just the lower freq of woofer as the description seem to suggest that it is output to woofer.

Don't bother. Just sign up for Prime @ $99/yr. Then you get to ship the TV back @ SGD$2.99. Add $45 for wooden crate the whole TV box.

IIRC, somebody got the Mi TV3 55" + soundbar & subwoofer for about SGD$1K with shipping and delivery to his doorstep.

Ezbuy have repeatly messaged me about shipping a mitv as "extremely fragile, very high chance of damage for international shipping" (i ordered the 65in mitv 3s)

Should i be worried? I've already ordered and requested for the sgd45 wooden crate protection but realised i'm ordering a larger and curved tv compared to the others that people have ordered here...

Does anyone how to start the setup assisten for setting up the TV again? A friend has a MiTv3 and after rooting and everything, the soundbar and subwoofer are not connecting anymore, so there is no Bass. My only idea is, to force the soundbar to connect to the subwoofer via the setup assistant, but I couldn't find this option in my MiTv2... Any idea is appreciated!

Just purchased a Palit 1070 SJS to upgrade my poor msi 760.
Tried to play 4k resolution games but single digit framerates...
Should be arriving this weekend.

Realised that you put the subwoofer on the TV console. Actually, the best place to put the subwoofer is on the floor against the wall, if corner, even better.

In that way, when the subwoofer punches out the bass, it'll shake your whole living room.
