Been using for 1 week now, really nice and big tv.
No issues so far (but i haven't tinkered or rooted the tv yet, just been watching cable tv via HDMI)

Regarding getting log, on this page ( http://www.miui.com/thread-2605068-1-1.html ) are Copylog archive, it is needed only to put it on USB and left it in TV. log will be captured automatically.

P.S. Is someone have Xiaomi mainland MITV service center email ?

In order to get shipping fee at $2.99, u need to subscribe EZBUY prime membership, u can get a 1 month free trial at $9.9.

as for agent fee 4%, you can choose to buy during the FREE AGENT FEE DAY(quite frequent, like every week also have), that way you can save the 4% agent fee.

so conclusion:

Membership fee $9.9(1 month trial), Shipping $2.99, crate $45, local sg delivery $8, GST 7% on the TV price, agent fee 4%( FREE if you buy during free agent free day)

Connect to wall antenna?

I am not subscribing to any set top box currently.. Can i connect this TV to the wall antenna (those given by HDB on the wall and also where you connect starhub set top box) to receive Mediacorp channel?

Yes, you can do that. Now you can just buy a DVB-T2 box and connect to the antenna point on the wall and you'll get digital TV quality liao. That is what I do for my Mi TV 2 now.

i bought the 48"

GST 7% on the TV price.

I buy using EZBUY, so basically u just top up ur account(in sgd), then click pay.

my advice is to get the 43" or 55" and above(as currently xiaomi less 300rmb on 43" and 700 for 55" and above), unless u really like the 48" size

Can i skip the DVB box? I remember that at my parent house.. i was able to connect that antenna point directly to my LG tv.. I dont need anything in between.. so was hoping that i can do the same for the Xiaomi TV.

It has DVB-T tuner nia, no T2 tuner. So in long run, it still needs a T2 tuner box to be connected, with an external antenna

Yes. You can don't buy the DVB-T2 box now. Just plug to the wall antenna can liao. But you'll be receiving low quality video quality.

Plus eventually, you will still need to buy the DVB-T2 box later one.
