May I know if the power supply will be different? Do they use the same 3 pin plug as us? If it is different will there be issues when we use it on our power socket?

It come in China pins, just need to use a travel adaptor to convert. The input voltage is same in both China and Singapore

You need the Xiaomi 3.5mm to SPDIF Cable, and a coaxial to toslink convertor as shown in the link:

Disclaimer: I have never used these products. But on paper it should work, also verified by those who bought the convertor. Quality of sound unknown - no review on that - people were just happy that it worked.

Edit: you still need another Toslink cable to connect from the converter to your soundbar.

I uses EK Link. This TV is part of my large shipment of 1.76 cubic metres. The cost is RM550 per cubic metre. The volume of the TV and subwoofer (including the wooden crate) is 0.32 cbm, which works out to be around RM176 for the shipping. The cost of the crating is less than RM100.

Personally, I would get via those "agents" selling in Spore.

Why? Reason is because they'll have people in China to check the TV to make sure that it is ok before shipping out to Spore. Any spoilt ones, they'll do RMA in China.

When the item reaches Spore, they'll check again. Same thing, any spoilt ones will be RMA-ed.

So only those that is ok, will be arranged to be sent to customers.

If the set that you received is spoilt, then it is damn "suay" liao.

As compared to you ordering directly and do your own shipping, you may save some $$ but if the TV reaches you spoilt, the shipping charges is crazy.

Anyway, you guys weighs the cost & benefits.

It's not available when I check it under updates... And I'm sitting in China...
Otherwise I would check it right away! Have nothing special done with the TV beside switching it to english, no root etc., so nothing to loose here

I can't figure out how can I have it connected using my home theater system.

I don't find any audio output from the TV which is technically a UHD monitor.

Yes, after checking internet resources, I concur with your findings. Other than the audio out for subwoofer, there is no other audio out port to connect to your HT.

So is the output port meant for the sub okay for HT? ( I think the signal is already filtered out the normal spectrum of HT) therefore not likely.
Can anyone with good language understanding to read the specs of the MiTV3 soundbar.
I am trying to find a way to use the AVR for home theatre and the only thing that seem able to do that is the HDMI 2.0 ports. Are they ARC supported? If they are then there is no problem.

I can't find user manual for more details.

Maybe you can explore BlueTooth Audio Adaptor/Receiver (L + R only?) further.

Thanks mrsun18 I think ARC will be best suited since it is HDMI 2.0 if it doesn't support ARC ... then it is not as high tech as it seem to be. On the other hand BT 4.0 is the next best thing. It does support optical out into the AVR therefore making it HT capable.

Quite afew in qoo10. They do have shopfronts if one prefers. Of cos, at a slight markup price for sure
