1080i starhub. Haha it has gotten better after a while.
How to get 4K content?
Any apps recommended?
I just realized 55 inch no microsd slot. Looks like 49 inch is a better buy....haha
So k the tv download the files right onto an external hard disk ?

I tested quite alot of 4K demo content, like those you see in Courts, etc.

Can download from : http://demo-uhd3d.com/

Just setup "Homegroup" on your home Wifi, then share one folder on your PC or NAS to "Homegroup", then whatever you want to view or install, just copy to that folder.

Access all the content from that folder on your TV can liao.

So don't need just link up a external harddisk to the TV. Of course, if you want, it is up to you.

Try going to the app and then "press & hold" on to the "OK" button and see how?

I presume the okay is the smaller circle. Tried that but just blue screen...:o

Yes. OK is the smaller circle inside the directional ring control.

Select the app that you want to uninstall, "press & hold" the Ok button and you'll see all the icon becomes "floating". Press Ok on the app again and you should see 3 option, delete, move and another one.

Try the "delete" option.

Oh ya almost forgot abt that homegroup feature. Haha.. I've 3 desktops in 3 different rooms with 3 different TVs. One pc download all content and the rest access it via shared folder.

Its pretty useless tho coz i mainly use one tv xp

I remember that previously, I just select a folder, then select "Share with Homegroup" and anybody connected to my Wifi can "read" those folders.

Don't know why now seems to have problem. I am running Windows 10 now.

Even better, store your media in a NAS or external hdd attached to router. MiTV is able to access the contents without having to switch on PC :D

Try to create a new user name say : "public" or "homeshare" or whatever. Then set the password.

After you share the folder to "HomeGroup" liao, reboot your PC and reboot the Mi TV.

Then go to the "Video" app on Mi TV and access the shared folder from there. If it prompt you to login, then login with the newly created account above.
