hello,

i just bought this x5 5g for my mum.

is there a way to lock/block those malware app installation etc?
as my mum is not very savvy with phone, a lot of times, she accidentally install those funny apps..
always bringing her to betting sites and funny stuff.. etc :D

so far, we did not help her sign up for any internet banking.
so should be safe.
her facebook account was hacked couple of years back but lucky, we manage to retrieve it back.

hence i thought of locking the phone for her for security purpose.
do share with me how to go about.

I guess it's time to replace my Mi 9T. It became laggy.
I need dual Sim (prefer physical sim), 256G storage, don't play game, battery to last for 1 full day (preferred).
Don't feel like spending to buy S23 or Iphone.
Is there any good recommendation? Was looking at Pixel 6a, Poco X5 5G, Redmi Note 12 5G? A friend told me to consider OnePlus 11, or Oppo phone too.

If u don’t need camera prowess, can consider poco f4

recently flash sale as low as $289

if ok with paying a bit more for camera, pixel 6a is not bad at $499

Yeah, I was looking at Poco F4 as well, but, it seems that now left with 128GB. Seems like they've cleared the 256GB stocks before F5's arrival in a few weeks.
