There were 2 established members in miui claimed that this phone has 4g-3g.

That's why amazingone posted that feature in his first post as well.

Upon checking further, the website states that the phone supports 4g-2g only

Plus you have tested and confirmed on this.

Thank you for your information.

Quite disappointed as i thought this phone will be a cheap future phone...

Would advise those looking for such feature on xiaomi phone to make sure the phone comes with netcom 3.0.

Will this spec be stated in official websites?

Currently i only know xiaomi mi max and mi5 and note 3 developer rom supports 4g-3g.

Updated the first two posts of this thread about the 4G+3G dual SIM info.

Went to check the spec sheet on the HK, India and Malaysia mi.com and all has been updated to reflect 4G+2G, while previously it was all stated to support 4G+3G..

What he refering to is 4g/3g + 3g/2g.

If 2nd slot only 2g, coming 1st april the 2nd slot will be next to useless.

That's what the cso said when i emailed them for support initially.. Throughout my 20+emails exchange, the cso insisted that it's 4g/3g+ 3g support... Seems like they got sick of my emails and tested it out themselves..

I will email them again and see what they can do..
