lock back safer i think, but risk doing it wrong.

I have relocked the bootloader then. It's not hard, just using the adb fast mode utility can already.

Somehow I think that since Xiaomi's method of locking and unlocking bootloaders are already known to the public, would locking bootloaders be of any use? Since hackers can just undo the locking already. :o

my bad, ya redmi 2. in terms of the specs is it redmi 4 prime > redmi 4 > redmi 4a?

i tried b4 friend's mi max, bth too big haha
Yes, in term of the specs is indeed the chain that you've listed.

Redmi 4A is Xiaomi's cheapest smartphone now, next with Redmi 4 then Redmi 4 Prime.

slot A - singtel prepaid voice call & sms
slot B - m1 1gb data sim

most of the time i will only on slot A

when i need to see stock price, whatsapp or pcw @ edmw/ssi i will off slot A and on slot B

what i'm afraid that only slot A have 4G and slot B is static 2G only then i cannot do the above once singapore no more 2G from april 2017

if you usage scenario is as above, pls do not buy redmi 4a

2nd slot will not be usable after april

http://www.mi.com/sg/redmi4a/specs/
"When two SIM cards are used simultaneously, the primary SIM can support
4G calls and data while the secondary SIM can support 2G calls only."

same problem for redmi 3s & redmi note 3

you need a phone with 4g+3g; cheapest xiaomi phone with this is mi max [street price around $310]

If 4g+3g, i think redmi note 4 can do so too and cheaper than mi max.

I think Redmi 4 Prime also can support 4g + 3g. :o

I see, then indeed Redmi 4A is possible for u.

But while u are using the internet, why not also keep the other sim card connected to standby for calls/sms? In that case I think a 4G+3G phone will suit u better. U also dun have to activate here and there. :o

But then the draw back is that u must manually switch between sim and once u used that Sim for data, den your call and msg got DC.

later i go challenger see got discount or not

if the 2G is not fixed to SIM B then its ok as i only on 1 sim slot at any time

90% of the time i'll on SIM A for voice calls and sms

10% of the time i'll on SIM B for data access

Both SIM slots support up to 4G, not like last time during the Redmi 1/1S era when the second slot is strictly 2G-only.
