my note hanged again this am when i was unlocking it and a whatsapp msg came in :(:(:(

Hmmm... Due to WhatsApp pop up?

Actually, do you really need the pop up?

I always disabled the pop up since day one as the 3 type of notifications from the status bar, Notifications list and floating notification are good enough for alerting me and it takes just extra 1 to 1.5 seconds to tap and reply. :)

More privacy and safer too without the incoming pop up especially so when you are gossiping... Kekeke. :)

Actually, I am hoping for Android 6.0.1 to be available for Redmi Note 3 soon. Mi Max is already on Android 6.0.1 liao.

With Android 6.0.1, battery life should be even better.
I think should wait long long. Xiaomi never had a history of updating Android versions. Instead, they make a big fuss of their UI and try to blind users into thinking it is better than a whole OS upgrade. :s13::s13:

Phone bricked Liao :(

it can be salvaged if you can get into fastboot mode.

force boot it into edl mode via fastboot and use miflash to flash a fastboot rom and you are good to go.

on a side note, i'm on mokee cm 0629 now. battery life is insane, got 6 hours screen time with 37% left.
