Guys, I notice that battery consumption between after clearing RAM and long time never clear RAM can be of huge difference!

After clear RAM before bedtime, with voice/data left on 8 hours, consumed 3% (no Facebook/Messenger installed though).

Long time not clearing RAM (with a long list in recent app), voice/data off for 6 hours, battery dropped 9%!

? ? ?
Logical.. must be some app in the background consuming more juice..

I have been using a Redmi Note 2 Prime since December 2015. I don't have any lagging issues at all.

Do you clear the cache regularly, and make sure you don't have unnecessary apps running in the background?

MIUI7/8 doesn't have the scheduled auto clear memory function likes every 1 hours or 3 hours or 12 hours and etc. that we can set, right? :s11:

Ya clear ram will close all apps thus consume lesser battery
I like how rmn3 clear the ram
It will force stop all apps instead

Last time i use samsung note 3 and after clear ram
Some app did not force stop de

Real usage for two full days. Very satisfied with the performance. No lag compared to mi4i (though I turn off Memory Optimization in RMN3).

Battery wise I felt wierd on the first night of usage. From 78% drop to 54% in 6 hours. Then realised GPS is turned on (due to Mi fit apps).

Charging battery is very fast! Using the Speedy Multi-USB charger and cables.

The only thing I don't really fancy is the weather forecast thingy. How do you guys turn it off?

Connectivity is somewhat okayish with occassional lag in detecting WIFI even the router is in the room.
My weather is off
Just disable the app lol

ehh, i dont clear cache that regularly since boot time after that take too long. haha.

for those using custom roms, so once we unlocked the bootloader (pls tell me know some foolproof reason to tell xiaomi, tia) we can just flash roms as per normal right? or have some additional steps to be done?

Just write "flash miui 8 global developer rom" lol. That's what I did. Received sms and phone unlocked on the 3rd day.

Anyone tried Xiaomi service centre before in Eu Tong Sen St. one?

Im thinking of not giving up my old xiaomi phone. So perhaps can try my luck to see if their battery replacement charges there for Mi4i is affordable or not.

Im just afraid their customer service is poor response... :(
