Buying a phone and announced to everyone, is it not allowed here given that this is a mobile phone forum where everyone shares what they bought and shares the joy ?

For now mtk holio x20 use in note 4.
Overall antutu score abt 10k more than the note 3 SD 650.

Detail comparison is certain functions. Though mtk 's holio note 4 score higher, SD 650 still quicker .. can check YouTube demo comparison for xiomi note 4 vs note 3pro.

Note 3 is good enough.
But perhaps note 4 nicer design with speaker holes at the bottom n sleeker.

Overall this 2. Not very much diff.

Camera wise maybe note 3 better.

But if want to upgrade to note 4...it's best to wait a while for note 4 SD chip version to be release... India market banned mtk so if xiomi wants to release note 4 in India market which is huge. It's inevitable ..a SD version with better features might be release very soon. Just wait..😀👍

Anyway note 3 is really up there with the price who needs a note 4 for now :)

But it's really very personal.

I prob will stick to note 3 pro for a while till maybe note 6 is available...

Trying to dl the stable rom but which is the 1? N how come got RMN3 special edition?

Hi redmi experts! Over the weekend my note 3 updated to MIUI 8 (LHOCNDG). So far so good ( no more annoying pop up ads). But just now I discovered playstore is not working. It says RH-01 error.

Tried to update the playstore app but does not solve the issue. Tried to remove my google account but it says not allowed by administrator. Can any kind souls here able to help me? Thank you in advance. Cheers!

after reading and doing abit of research its seems Ericsson own a large share of mediatek SoC? or owning it as their parent products... @_@

either way, if any phone maker need mediatek have to go thru ericsson.

like this i also dun mind though, as im a supporter for SD =:p

have did a comparison with both of the the redmi note with mtk and sd, find that SD is smoother though, but performance in benchmark mtk is higher...but den again benchmark doesn't prove daily usage at some points as well :s8:

This is just like Intel vs AMD in pc world. AMD or MTK always use more processor to get good benchmark result. But in actual use, Intel or SD is always better.

Running code in emulation mode can never be as fast as native. These cannot be reflected in a benchmark result. This is also why AMD/MTK is always cheaper in the market.

Ok my story is gonna sound funny...

I bought a xiaomi note 3 export set from lazada. So far all OK, just tat when my HP screen is locked, the screensaver becomes a few girls in bikini with Chinese text.

How do I get rid of the bikini girls screensaver? Tried everything but failed...
