Anyone tried using Trusted Places under Smart Lock to unlock phone? It doesn't seem to work

Tried the set at Challenger Tampines T1. Notice that the screen color is a little washed out. The demo set has a little light leakage at the bottom screen. The icons on the home screen doesn't looks dull. Compare the Asus Max next to it, the Asus set screen looks more colorful.

Is it just the demo set only that has a washed out color?

Surely that demo is a poor quality set.

The Redmi Note 3 has one of the best color display out there. I love the display. It is very vibrant. :)

The build quality of the handset is solid too.

Anyone bought the 2GB RAM/16GB version? Wondering if it is of huge performance difference between it and the 3GB RAM/32GB version?

Understand it is very worth it for $20 more for 3G/32 version but at this rate of waiting for them to re-stock (and very little stock each time), not sure going for 2G/16 worth it or not.

Hey guys.

After considering and researching hard for over 3 weeks and having sleepless night over it, I am finally the proud owner of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 32GB GOLD. :)

I bought it from Starhub at $299.

I initially wanted to buy at Mobile Sq at $298. HOWEVER I noted that Xiaomi does not cover warranty unless you buy at either their online sales, at Challenger at $319 or at the 3 Telcos.

No wonder Mobile Sq is trying to sell you at $1 less. And also with ONLY cash. I want to use CC for cash rebates.

Therefore I then decided to take the safe route and buy from Starhub. :) Using CC of course.

Just sharing my experience with those who still are deciding where to buy their Note 3.

Good luck with your purchase! :D

$299 is 1/4 of the price of an iPhone 6S Plus 64GB ($1,218), definitely value for money. The finger print sensor works great. With this price, you can change phone every year without feeling the pinch.
