If you r using Samsung phones, the back n menu buttons are in the same position. I was a Samsung Note 2 user n thats the reason I chose Xiaomi bec the buttons are similar. Rest of the phones like HTC, Google, Sony, etc are all opposite.

I take android default as reference ...... so both samsung and xiaomi both WRONG!!!! hahahahaha

Your English... is making my head spin. :s13:

Xiaomi only JUST launched their online shop at Lazada. My post that you quoted is more than two weeks old.

Bought a cheap export Redmi Note 3 off Newstar to replace the Sony Z1 which my mum was using previously.

The phone is very easy to set-up and easy to use. My mum was visibly delighted and the battery life is really very good. Best of all, only $160, albeit with just 1 month warranty.

Slowly converting my family into Xiaomi camp.. I am loving the Mi Max having used it for coming to 5 months.. now considering getting a mi pad 2 for other media consumption

try the xiaomi tv 3s 48 inch. around $500 from qoo10 after discount.
mipad 2 is ok but not fantastic.

For me, I prefer back arrow on the right. Less distance my finger need to go as I always back instead of go straight to home screen or switch directly to other apps.

Indeed.. browser back button is on the left as well. I think only samsung and xiaomi put the back button on the wrong position..

Same here. I prefer back button on the right and having the left button as a menu key than a recent apps key.

Sounds logical. I always use the back button so I too prefer it on the right without strecting my thumb. :D

Does VoLTE work with our local telcos on this phone?

On developer rom, latest update yesterday.
Using a Singtel sim on sim1, shows 4G. But when making calls, it drops to 3G.

How?

I notice the battery life is longer if I use auto brightness option compared to self set brightness level. I read that some of you experienced the opposite? Mine is MIUI 8 global rom
