i downgraded my miui 8.1.6.0 to 8.1.1.0 due to battery drain on standby. Don't dare update liao cause battery life for 8.1.1 is the best for marshmallow for my phone.

When downgrading it will be reset to factory settings. All apps will be deleted. Process wise quite simple takes around 30-40 mins (including reading and understanding). Make sure to download the right rom from as there are 3 versions of the phone. Only .tgz (fastboot rom will work) when downgrading. Full recovery rom will not work and its used only for updating.

Clear RAM before bedtime and try again.

likely is the comeback of msm_otg wakelock. it came back after update for my case.

changed to Keep wifi on when plug in but wifi still on while screen is off.
Need to change other things?:s11:

update:
found that wifi is disconnected but not off (cannot ping phone ip address)

Are you able to verify that your phone is genuine product?

If it is a genuine phone, just reboot to bootloader mode and flash with fastboot command.

anyone knows where to get the cheapest xiaomi note 3 now? i missed the lazada deal that sells note 3 @ $159 or 169.

Can check with u guys how to update MIUI version? I'm running old firmware that the seller flashed for me since I bought it a year ago but when I go updater app it always tells me no available update when I search for it and when I dl a ROM that I try to flash through updater app it tells me can't verify package

Follow the guide here. Before starting please transfer the necessary stuff to your SD card and eject it.

Most importantly go to settings, go to about phone, go to status and take a screenshot of the WIFI MAC and Bluetooth address. Sometimes nvram can get corrupted but if you safekeep these stuff no issues when addressing it.
