She just tell me it is covered. I asked why the support can't just reply me via email, she only said previously (for older models) they don't cover.

I told them upfront that I purchased it off lazada and I want to check if it is under Singapore warranty.

I did pass the lazada invoice to her, she just glanced only.

seriously, they could have just put in a disclaimer abt older models/sets. anyway good news, ty for checking.

Regarding charging Xiaomi Note 5

I have just received my Xiaomi Note 5 AI, and i plug it to charge, about slightly more than an hr, i noticed the charging light on the phone turned off, and i found out that it is 100% charged. May i know is this normal? There is no more light on top of the phone once it is fully charged? Can i plug out from charging now? Thanks

Thanks for your prompt reply. So the "no light" after 100% charged is normal? All my mobile phone has green light after fully charged, didnt expect Xiaomi phone to turn off the light. This is my first xiaomi phone.

It could mean the phone auto disconnect from the charger after reaching 100%.

Maybe those who have the Redmi Note 5 on hand now can advise you better. :s12:

Yeah no light means 100% charged. They changed to this no light=100% charged when they switched all their recent models to just single white colour LED notification light as opposed to multi-coloured ones in older Xiaomi models. Not a great move on their part to be honest.

Hmm ... i find the handphone quite heavy, 181g is not really what i would like to carry. But so far the spec given this price is good.

Actually i m eyeing at Lenovo Z5 also. The spec is even better, and price seems cheaper. But i read some review that Lenovo does not focus on OS upgrade. To play safe, i choose XM Note 5

Lenovo phone if can get any software updates can giggle alr, let alone major software revisions.

Last time Motorola under Google control releases software updates frequently, once it's transferred to Lenovo everyone speculated delayed software update and it's immediately realised.
