Seems like nowadays phone side is not flat surface. So a few of my friend phone has the same issue when paste screen protector.

For those still in doubt, this guy here has unboxed a official SG "local" set for us.

Note the IMDA sticker pasted at the back of the box and the charger that cums along with it.

EDIT: Wonder if this guy ish a sinkie PR or what. How he get his hand on a "IMDA-stickered" set sia.

I have only seen IMDA sticker on the back of the box and NEVER on the charger for all the xiaomi phones I bought from official online store or official retail store.

buying a dot matrix full cover screen protector would prevent this. mine doesnt have a halo effect around it.
