Can cur using normal scissors yourself. I cut about 4 for my whole family already no problem. Just leave some allowance if u scared

Really? Is not the plastic portion but it's the gold colour chip portion, the golden colour portion can be cut? Also.. My mum is using singtel prepaid...

the really really old type from mid 2000s ... can cut to micro but not nano ... you see the golden chip have 4+4 fingers per side ....
newer type smaller chip is 3+3 per side , this one can cut to nano , use scissor to do it under bright light , for the final fit while you keep trial and error to fit into sim tray until no protrude , you use the nail cutter rough file to rub it not scissors cut

the last good phone for microsim was mi max and redmi note 4x ... later xiaomi phones all nano only

I switched telco to save that $37 change sim card fee .... my mother one still the older bigger type .... when her RMN4x spoil in the future I think will go through the same as you .... ST didn't send new sim card when change to $20 SIM-ONLY plan ... only sign new number got new sim card

Oh ****.. Just realise my mum is using the old type of sim card where the chip is bigger size.. I don't think can be cut down to fit into redmi note 5....

Few years back, I've change the old SIM free. The telco don't charge if you change an old SIM for new type. Not sure abt now. You can ask with them.

post paid can change. with a fee.
prepaid cant change unless u port out. but iirc also not worth.

Comparing iphone x with redmi note 5... need to sharpen +1, saturation +2 and contrast +1 to almost match iphone color..but one thing i notice is redmi note 5 focus even faster then iphone X at low light.. WOW

Wow the differences quite marginal between both.

Redmi note 5 need to up the camera setting by quite a bit to match lor. What surprised me is note 5 focusing much faster likely due to the 1.4 U pixel size sensor compare to iphone 1.2. But i only up sharpen by 1 for my mum redmi note 5 and i saw her photos last week and they turn out damned nice and sharp thus i decided to get this cheap and good camera phone.

And also do take note that global rom dun have face unlock and AI for camera etc... and there are actually more cards for app vault for china rom too...

But i find that the portrait mode for global rom for front camera is even better now comparing with china rom...
