Yep. No future updates. Have to flash to an official rom, which none of us have an idea on how to do it yet. Maybe can try the test point method but I'm not doing that and risk my return

so, make sure don't get from JBTC/BooM unless you can find way to return it OR they promised to send you factory-sealed with CHINA or GLOBAL rom !!!

Think logic is just buy a local warranty set to avoid trouble of unlocking or flashing left and right.

Got mine last week at RWM @$298. Checked IMEI and the address shown Malaysia.

But confirmed OEIMIFA and global ROM, so not complaining All ppl around me said I am crazy to give up IP8plus for this but no regrets

On side note I have one spare piece of Bonaier anti blue light TGSP, first one to PM me will get it

Just bought 4/64gb from premier mobile at lazada for 240. Hopefully the rom not fake. I did read the Q&A before purchasing it seems to be sealed with global rom installed.

if yes, what sd card are you using?



i faced the same issue on my sandisk class 10 UHS 1. especially when saving videos, it would take ages. every time i snap a pic or take a video, it's all waiting and waiting, and sometimes the app itself hangs and i have to force stop and restart the camera app.

I upgraded to samsung evo UHS3 and that problem went away. it was an issue with the slow write speed to the sd card.

edit: during my research into the problem, i also learnt that sandisk micro sd cards have compatibility issues with certain phone chipsets (to the extent that even sandisk was offering free exchange a while back), which would affect the sd card write speeds as well.

At the moment yes, but I suspect upcoming Mi Max 3 will have this "feature" too. Seemed like it's a Oreo feature so may be will affected those device running Oreo.
