I did it myself all the way from binding phone to account, install Mi Unlock for unlocking bootloader, download and use MiFlash to install WHYRED 9.2.7 Global rom, unlock bootloader again, update to global 9.5.6 rom. This was my first time and took quite awhile to research how it was done properly. Luckily still succeeded though all files lost without backup

Correct me if i am wrong.
Step 1:
Install MiUnlock to unlocking bootloader
Step 2:
Use MiFlash to install WHYRED 9.2.7 (this is to make it to a lower ROM first)
Step 3:
Install MiUnlock to unlocking bootloader again
Step 4:
Use MiFlash to install Global ROM 9.5.6

Questions:
1. Why can't i skip step 3 and 4? ** Edit: got it from the following post. need to downgrade first.**
2. Does the global rom comes with Google Play Store?

Did you by any chance encounter this error during the first Flash:

"can not found file flash_all.bat"

I unzipped the WHYRED 9.2.7 and Flashed from that folder and got the above error.

You need to find the fast boot ROM to flash. It should be a .tgz file.
I think the zip file is recovery ROM. Just did it 2 hours ago.

I have one problem, the device can boot after I flash it with clear all and lock bootloader. Have to unlock the bootloader again using the tool.

Yes, I tried to do 9.5.4 global rom directly but it wouldn't work as they needed an older version so i flashed 9.2.7 first then manually update later.

For the 9.2.7 tgz file you have to use WINRAR achiever to extract it, then use Miflash to flash it via bootloader

definitely... but do take note that set is export set and JTBC offer 6mth warranty.. they have a shop in singapore. set likely is china set and using china rom... likely JTBC will install playstore already just like when i bought redmi 5 plus from them during jan feb...just uninstall all those useless china apps in china rom and u are good to go... not necessary die die must use global rom .. cause usually china rom get updates quicker and got more features which global dun have.. but global is default have goggle service playstore etc

I meant cannot boot with locked bootloader. Have to unlocked then can boot. I go straight to 9.5.6 from the China ROM

Nope Q10 32gb is 239 already best price is 219 after coupon. OS use abt 1.5gb ram so 4gb left abt 2.5gb and 6gb ram left abt 4gbplus of free ram... More ram means u can load more apps in memory.. Depend on what apps.. 4gb can store abt 15 to 25 apps in memory and 6 GB can store over 30apps..3gb can store less then 10 apps.. So judge for yrself..

Yes.. I checked with seller. Is china sets.. I dun see a need in flashing global rom.. So u check with other bro who have successfully flash.. I might flash but I heard global rom is buggy now..
