thats why i would said no use buy local set xiaomi phones.. just grab whichever is cheap... flashing of rom is easy... almost all of my xiaomi phones i bought export...

thats simply how it works on miui's aggresive battery management. turn on autostart and it will always run in the background.

I have turned on autostart for WhatsApp but still no notification. I guess I have to flash to global rom to solve the issue..

Found this Univercell seller on Shopee selling export Redmi Note 5 4+64 for $275.

This Univercell is a **** store in Serangoon (near Mustafa).

I find their export set prices tend to be cheaper than those ** ahbeng shops, rwm, whymobile etc.

Was recommended by moi abang frens to these shops in Serangoon some yrs back when moi want to buy moi first export hp.

Since then, moi nvr looked back. Everytime need to buy export set hp, moi just make a trip down there.

Now there's already ready-to-use sets with preinstalled global rom (aka Global Version).

No need trouble flash here flash there anymore.

I would say quite not bad, but there's a few other hp shops too along that corridor stretch.

Check them out first before deciding which shop to buy.

No prob, will do so. I'm kinda still miffed about flashing my jtbc set to global rom, didn't expect that 360 hours wait. Its not worth the 35 dollars savings.

It's shipping from China though, delivery to SG likely will take more than a week..
