Just to check, anyone successfully installed flash player in the Note? I DL, install but still not working.

Pre paid card for use in redmi note should using sim1 or sim2? if don need data or dont wan to accidentally use data,which 1 should i use?any different in voice call between sim1 n sim2?

Use any slot also can.

Under Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Data Connection > Enable (Switch to Off)

Under Data Roaming > Data Roaming > Switch to Off

Shouldn't have any difference in voice quality in either slot but since you only have one SIM card, just slot in the 1st slot so you get both 3G and 2G network coverage.

The case I bought on eBay is here. This is not original Xiaomi case, since they don't make it in this colour from what I can see on their China site. About S$8.

It feels pretty cheap. The red paint job isn't completely even, there are a few raised spot from imperfect paint job. The button feels pretty cheap too. Since I don't have a Redmi Note anymore, can't be sure how it fits though.

noob qn....how do i customise notification tones on the Note?

i tried putting the custom tones (in various audio formats) into the Notification folder, i cannot locate them in the Sound setting. I tried moving them to the Music folder, still can't find them within the Sound setting.

thanks to a friend of mine, you have to copy the backup folder (located in /miui folder) to the destination phone's local storage; and strictly phone storage, not SD card.
