Thinking of getting a set as a spare phone. Heard theres some UI lag as compared to the 1s? because of the MTK processor?

Anyone using any interesting accessories for their redmi note?

for me, only tempered glass screen protector, and changed the back casing to red :s13:

Ditto. Bought the "Samsung leather like batt casing". And just ordered a tempered glass protector. Was using a normal screen protector but i hated the fingerprint stains.

Btw, it is easy to DIY apply the glass protector? I remember there are shops that do the pasting for $4 or so.

After using mi note for awhile I just feel that the UI somehow lag compare to iphone. How do we increase the 2gb mem? Seem like OS eaten up 1gb. We left with 1gb to launch the apps

Is the tinted screen covered by warranty? Maybe send it to the service center? Less than a month phone having this problem is not quite acceptable....

Go down to Clark Quay the central 4th floor. If one month I don't know how they would repair or replace. I received my note today and straight out of box, the screen bleeding problem and faulty. Went there, they ask for my phone no and name. In Less than 5mins I walk away with new mi note. Looks like warranty is base on buyer name and no. If the bnib note go through many buyer and they resell and finally one buyer decided to use it and suay suay find out phone got problem. Then die laio. Confirm need to trace back the original buyer to claim warranty as they straight away registered the device imei when someone buy and registered it to their number and address and name.

Have the flipper scan the original packing and give that to you. That will have the name and address.

Unless you need to go back to the flipper for warranty claims.

under security

click on blocklist

click on the settings button on the top right

click on "Rules"

click on "Add Rules"

name it whatever you want, put the following settings:
- Blocklist - block
- Exceptions - allow
- messages from contacts - allow
- calls from contacts - allow
- messages from strangers - allow
- calls from strangers - allow
- private numbers - allow

press ok to save and return to rules list

select the rule you just created

this method allows you to keep your blocklist function. you can add numbers in there as and when they come up, no need disable everything

does your tempered glass have an oleophobic coating?

mine does, and the fingerprints are significantly less than my previous clear plastic screen protector. much easier to wipe off too

Under normal music player rule it will filter small file size less than 800kb, try to disable this and check again.
