faster hardware yes

this is heaps faster than s3 and slightly faster than s4

means play games faster/smoother

It's bigger than s3 by quite a bit, but it's most significant when compared to iphone

The back cover of the note is almost a nightmare to remove so for me, the better option is to use a powerbank to charge the battery before it goes flat if you are not near an accessible power source.

I did buy a spare battery but that's just to be used if the internal battery degrades.

Just receive my note ytd via amarex. Bought during 16 Aug period..Haha dunno 4g coming out soon... BTW any recommendations on what apps to install to optimize the phone? Thanks

i had been using my old phone which is 3G for 4 yrs lol.. 2 or which is under 4G plan..

recently got note which i believe shd last me another 4 yrs.. but seems like a waste le if u under 4G plan but can onli use 3G due to the phone..

its a great phone nonetheless haha..

Yup. Regretted. Actually bought through Qoo10. But Sim Lim sellers are smart. They list their products at Qoo10 to sell.

I think should be original but parallel import from prc coz I did some "checks" and found that there are no issues mentioned when using a fake one. Only issue I have is it is not local set. There is no google playstore and some of the apps are not applicable to use in sg. Can't launch candy crush when installed.

You don't even realise it's running on android because everything looks so iOS like. But do take note on how the phone can be customised and also the internal memory and external memory works as iphone doesn't support external memory functions.

but can you connect to our local 3g network?

if you can't connect to 3g, u got a TD set (only useable in china)

if you can connect to 3g, you can simply try flashing to the global firmware



i highly doubt there would be any mi phone without playstore. i suspect yoursr is indeed a fake

Most of the interface feels like the iPhone particularly how the icons and icons folders works. You can apply the theme so that it look closer to what iOS looks like.

One neat feature I find is under the Contacts, you can actually do a phone to phone via bluetooth so you can move all your contacts from your iPhone to the Redmi Note.

Yes, from my meter it shows more than 1.3 A. Note 3 shows 1.7 A. Taking into account t of the device's error and offset etc, the actual current is higher.

Anyone got issues with missing items from Xiaomi 16th August sale?

My box was delivered in fact - all properly sealed up. But when open, realised the box missing 2x headphones, 1x clear and 1x matt screen protector and 1x case.

No packing was included as well.

Their chinese helpline kept requesting for the packing list, despite telling them it not included and it had been 3 days and but all they can do is request for the packing list before they can investigate!

If it is original, you can simply switch to Global ROM or install MIUI gapps at China ROM.

I myself purposely switch to China ROM because I want full themes access.
