Til now still no update to v30 bought from Xiaomi Singapore.....anyone too?

Self update mine to v30 using this method...How to update software using MiPhone Manager on Xiaomi phone ?

how long do you all take to fully charge the battery? mine took very long

for the first charge from 0 to 100% took me around 4 hrs?
subsequently it became better.
Now, it takes ard slightly more than 2hrs for me to charge from 20 to 100%
maybe u can tell us the % u start charging and the time used.

i don't htink that software is approved by xiaomi

please dont

just use your phone, go to the official miui website, grab the firmware off the website

then go to your update manager, settings> select update package

select the zip file u downloaded off your phone

my xiaomi note sometimes feel abit laggy, or rather not as smooth, huawei g6 seems to be slightly better in that sense.

any buddy got problem with the gps ?

moi 1st time use it for driving, the gps stopped working after only approx. 5 seconds, the sweet voices say : "GPS signal lost", so no more voice navigation. and the map stalled.

tried a few more time and the same result : GPS worked only a few sec than ITE.

Everything ish ok nao after talking to xiaomi CSO (a pinay ) and followed her guidance to delete all maps data and reinstall the google map.

Any charger will do. i use apple 2A charger for my 10k powerbank fully charge in 5 hour. If use 1A charger, it will take 12hrs to fully charge.

Last time they had china, singapore and Malaysia firmware but now that they are branching to more countries, they decided to just have two firmwares, one for china and the other one for the rest of the world.

Maybe they sending the OTA out in batches so it doesn't overwhelm the servers. Imagine if a couple of millions of phones download and update at the same time.

For those waiting for OTA v30, u can always use the official manual method:

1 - Go to Miui & download the full rom (WCDMA-Global)
2 - Store the zip file in your sdcard
3 - Open Tools - Updater - Left softkey - Select update package - Choose the zip file
4 - Auto reboot, install, & viola

2 - Store the zip file in your sdcard
3 - Open Tools - Updater - Left softkey - Select update package - Choose the zip file
4 - Auto reboot, install, & viola

I tried it and got an error msg.. Update was aborted and rebooted. Back to v29..
